How to make glue yourself. Dextrin


Dextrin glue - we use for gluing paper and cardboard, sticking photos. In a closed container dextrin adhesive retains its properties for a month.

In order to prepare the glue it is necessary:

We take 50 g of water and 50 g of dextrin. In warm water gradually add dextrin, constantly mixing. The glue is ready.

That the glue quickly dried up and was resistant to moisture add 0.2- -0.5 g of borax.

That the glue was elastic, add 1g. urea and 1 g of calcium chloride and 2 g of glycerol

That the glue was more sticky we add 1-2 g of liquid glass.

Dextrin adhesive is an environmentally friendly product.

 
Other recipes for preparing glue:


** 20 g of dextrin is dissolved in 50 ml of water (yellow dextrin - in cold water, and white - in hot water). In the resulting solution add 5 g of sugar, 1 g of alum-alkali alum and 0.1 g of boric acid.

** mix thoroughly 20 grams of dextrin, 10 ml of concentrated acetic acid and 50 ml of water. Add 10 ml of ethyl alcohol to the resulting mass, without stopping the stirring.

** 60 grams of dextrin to stir in a small amount of cold water, and then, while stirring, add 50 ml of boiling water, 10 ml of table vinegar and 10 ml of glycerin.

** 10 grams of dextrin, mix with water in a thick slurry; heat the mixture on low heat and add with stirring 25 ml of liquid glass (silicate glue).
