Description:
Aniline (phenylamine, aminobenzene) obtained by industrial methods by one of the following processes:
- By passing ammonia and phenol under a pressure of about 10 atm. over alumina;
- Thanks amination excess chlorobenzene in the presence of catalyst and ammonia (3.4 mol);
- As a result of reduction of nitrobenzene in the presence of water, catalyst and iron filings.
